I totally see what you are saying about being in an unequal marriage or relationship. But my feelings and perceptions are based on what I've experienced. And personally, I don't have any friends or know of anyone who hasn't had a decent marriage. And the women I know who are divorced have very involved ex-husbands. But so be that. Whatever our experiences, if we have been successful at getting through life despite the hurdles, that is cause for great respect and celebration!Widow in the Middlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01598249263166943162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-738048378012755564.post-79788129012126143492012-04-30T04:59:34.136-07:002012-04-30T04:59:34.136-07:00Give yourself a big hug and say WooHoo to all of t...Give yourself a big hug and say WooHoo to all of the things you accomplished last week! Wow! I feel the same way you do often about "doing it on my own", but try to look at this way, (and it's helped me a lot..... )You could be doing it on your own, inside of a marriage or relationship. I have a lot of friends who have living husbands who aren't helpful, supportive or the other half to make a whole. From one widow whose been doing it alone for 12 years now, I say WooHoo to us.... you deserve that vacation!Rebecca (Becky) Mahoneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13175195823235850675noreply@blogger.com
